Question 1: Jared got upset when he noticed that no one would pay attention to alake. He is close to age with alake and i think that makes them have a closer bond. I think he is becoming closer to alake as the book goes on.
4. I think that Jared changed the most. At the beginning he was not open to having the thought of having 4 african refugees in the house. But as time went on he became closer to Mattu and Alake.
